Tuesday 10 am - 2 pm
Thursday 10 am - 2 pm & 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm

The Family History Center is located in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meeting house.

The facility is staffed by members of the church and by other local genealogy enthusiasts. Staff members are trained in assisting others in their research efforts. All visitors are welcome to come and use the facilities.

The Family History Center is a member of the Utah Genealogical Society. Computers with internet access, Microfilm, Microfiche and an abundance of literature are made available to assist the patrons in doing their family history research.

Visitors are requested to adhere to certain church standards while utilizing the center. Smoking is prohibited on church grounds. Modest dress is required. Since the center is located in a church please act appropriately.

Monthly Workshops:

Check the calendar for the FHC monthly offerings. The 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 pm, the FHC presents a fun, educational workshop. These workshops are taught by knowledgeable instructors and will help you break down your brick walls.

When Guilford County Schools are closed due to inclement weather. If in doubt about closings due to weather please call ahead.
